Virtual PopUP: When Environmental News Takes a Backseat with Justin Nobel

September 15, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

What happens when environmental news (i.e: wildfires and hurricanes) takes a backseat to the President Election and COVID-19? And what are the impacts that has on those communities? Duke alum and environmental reporter, Justin Nobel ’03, will join us to discuss that on Tuesday September 15th at 5:30 pm. Justin Nobel writes on issues of science and the environment for Rolling Stone, Audubon, Oxford American, DeSmog, and other US magazines, investigative sites, and literary journals.  Links to Justin’s website and work are below the flyer.
