Mallary Tenore Tarpley is a journalist, author and journalism and writing professor at the University of Texas at Austin’s Moody College of Communication. Tarpley is author of Slip, Life in the Middle of Eating-Disorder Recovery. she writes a weekly newsletter, Write at the Edge.
Professor Tarpley will be the featured speaker for the 2025 Ewing Lecture on Media Ethics. She will talk with Professor Stephen Buckley about "The Ethics of Personal Reporting."
